Who is FIRST For?

• FIRST serves individuals ages 15-40 diagnosed with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, schizophreniform disorder or other specified/unspecified schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorder, or bipolar disorder with psychotic features who are experiencing no more than 18 months of psychotic symptoms, whether treated or untreated.
• FIRST serves individuals with co-occurring substance abuse disorders and co-occurring developmental disabilities.
• FIRST serves individuals with a willingness to consent to participate in at least two of the five treatment modalities.

Individuals who do not meet eligibility criteria for FIRST are referred to other treatment resources.
