College of Medicine
NEOMED’s Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree curriculum is designed to develop the characteristics that people want to see in their physicians: competence, communication, caring, curiosity, character and a commitment to community. The four-year curriculum fuses the behavioral, biological, clinical, community health and social sciences with the humanities. Students are grounded in the complex interplay of these disciplines as they pertain to patient care and health outcomes.

College of Pharmacy
The College of Pharmacy offers an original and progressive curriculum that blends classroom and practice experiences to give graduates the knowledge, skills and professionalism that is necessary to succeed as a pharmacist. Student-centered learning is a critical component; at least 30 percent of pharmacy courses are offered through active learning exercises. The pharmacy curriculum emphasizes the University’s core values of competence, communication, caring, curiosity, character and community, and uniquely offers an education that optimizes interprofessional learning experiences. Pharmacy and medicine students learn together in a blend of classes, which results in extensive contact between the two student bodies.
