Instilling Critical Thinking, Inspiring Curiosity and Promoting Innovation
The College of Graduate Studies provides support to students who are pursuing graduate-level degrees at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) and in partnership with other Ohio universities.
In cooperation with course directors, the office assigns teaching assistants to various health professions courses, manages the graduate student travel award program, organizes graduate student activities and assists students and faculty with course selection and registration.
Students may apply to the school of Biomedical Sciences at Kent State University and carry out their Ph.D. research with scientists at NEOMED. The University is located approximately 10 miles east of the main campus of Kent State University.

Prabha Awale is the first Ph.D. graduate student to graduate from the Kent State University Biomedical Sciences Program with a major advisor from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at NEOMED. Read more.
College of Graduate Studies Announces Inaugural Graduate Faculty Council
On Friday, July 13, the NEOMED Graduate Faculty Council met for the first time in the history of the University. The Graduate Faculty Council is the faculty governing body of the NEOMED College of Graduate Studies and will be responsible for fulfilling the mission of the college and for aligning graduate studies with the overall mission of the University.
