Retirees Association of NEOMED (R.A.N.)

About

R.A.N. is all about the empowerment of NEOMED retirees concerning pensions, health care and legislation. We enjoy camaraderie and fun and meet together three times per year. In addition, we provide an annual membership directory to all members and boast open communication between officers and members via email correspondence.

We Learn

We share relevant news and information from various state and government retiree organizations and invite special guest speakers and NEOMED personnel to talk about current events. We also discuss the latest legislative actions, so we can stay up-to-date about what to expect regarding our benefits. Meeting minutes are always made available as an additional informational resource.

We Share & Serve

Our meetings are preceded by lunch together on campus and are light, informative and interesting. The focus is on open discussion, asking questions and sharing personal experiences. As retirees, we are an important source of knowledge and experience, and opportunities to assist the University have and continue to develop as NEOMED expands and moves forward into an exciting future.

We Have Fun

Activities may include bus tours, wineries, live shows, lake cruises, fall foliage trips and holiday light shows. We also host an annual “Members’ Dinner” at a local restaurant and invite guest speakers and new retirees to join us for an evening of good food, good fun and good company.
