High school students in grades 9-12 with an interest in the pharmacy profession.
February 17, 2020
Are you a high school student interested in becoming a pharmacist?
Get an inside look at pharmacy school and the profession with NEOMED’s Pharmacy 101 that is open to students in grades 9–12. The day will include a “Careers in Pharmacy” roundtable session where you can talk one-on-one to local pharmacists working in diverse areas of pharmacy, as well as a compounding session where students can see what it’s like to be a compounding pharmacist. Participants will also learn how to take vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate) from current NEOMED pharmacy students. The day will be filled with a magnitude of unique hands-on activities with lunch being provided.
