Two students completing the MCAT so they can get into medical school.

AHEC Offering Free MCAT Test Prep Assistance

The Northeast Ohio Area Health Education Center (AHEC) is dedicated to creating opportunities in the health professions, especially in medically underserved areas. To help accomplish this, AHEC is sponsoring payment for MCAT prep through the Princeton Review.

This is a no-cost opportunity for those who live in underserved areas and underrepresented minorities, live or attend a university in Northeast Ohio, and have an interest in attending NEOMED.

“The cost of MCAT prep can be a barrier into the health professions, which is something we work to eliminate as best as possible,” said Patti Thornborough, regional program director of the Northeast Ohio AHEC. “This can be a vital opportunity for assistance on the path to medical school.”

Eligible students may apply for the free test prep funding throughout October 2021.
