Curriculum Blueprint Details
The College of Medicine is revamping its curriculum. This transformation aims to:
- enhance interprofessional training opportunities for students, and
- encourage faculty members to explore and incorporate innovative technologies and teaching methods.
These changes will ultimately improve the delivery of course content and boost student engagement.
In addition, the academic calendar will be replaced with a new calendar that has 16-week semesters, a summer semester and a “Maymester” term. The summer semester will start the new academic year.
The complete transition will occur over a period of several years.
