Being aware of world religions and holidays is part of our duty to create an inclusive environment at NEOMED. To aid in scheduling and overall knowledge, the Office of DE&I has provided a calendar of religious holidays and requirements or accommodations that those celebrating may take part in or request.
The purpose of the Inclusivity Center is to allow for various diversity and inclusion activities (meetings, speakers, events, etc) , as well as, diversity related resources. The Inclusivity Center allows for all students, faculty and staff who partake in its offerings to feel a sense of belonging, engaged, and valued. Since every individual is “diverse” the Inclusivity Center is welcoming of everyone including those who possess all aspects of diversity.
In an effort to further its commitment to creating a diverse and welcoming environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) students, faculty, staff and guests, the University has implemented the SafeSpace initiative.
NEOMED is committed to ensure its students, employees and guests are free from discrimination in conjunction with any program or activity being conduction on or by the University.
