Student Health Services
Services addressing primary care, immunizations and health insurance are available for students through Student Wellness and Counseling Services.
Blood-Borne Pathogens & Exposure
All students are required to participate in yearly informational training about blood-borne pathogens and universal precautions. If exposure to blood or body fluids occurs, information is readily available on how to handle.
Disabilities and Accommodations
Qualified students are encouraged to disclose known disabilities and to request reasonable accommodation as early as possible.
For more information, contact email@example.com.
ImmunU & Immunizations
All students are required to complete a medical history form and submit an immunization record before attending classes.
Medical Care through AxessPointe
AxessPointe, contracted by NEOMED, provides students with medical care for non-urgent acute care needs. Laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging (when medically necessary) are not covered by the agreement and are billed to the student’s insurance. For general information and appointments, call 888.975.9188.
Student Health Insurance
Students are required to carry medical and life and disability insurance. Medical coverage is available through the University, if needed, and students are automatically enrolled in life and disability insurance.
