Community Education
NEOMED supports medical education and provides a variety of camps, programs and educational experiences that expose participants to careers in medicine, pharmacy and other careers in health care and the health sciences. These experiences provide high school students and others the opportunity to make a difference in the health and wellness of their communities.
Anatomy Academy
From anatomy lectures and group discussions to dissections and lessons in how to suture (stitch), NEOMED Anatomy Academy students have the chance to step into the shoes of a medical student.
Bio-Med Science Academy
Located on the NEOMED campus, this STEM+M high school is committed to helping the state of Ohio inspire and train the next generation of science and technology leaders.
Brain Bee
This live Q&A competition tests high school students’ knowledge of the human brain including topics on intelligence, emotions, memory, brain diseases and other areas of neuroscience.
MEDCAMP
MEDCAMP is a three-day immersive experience designed to stimulate students’ interests in the basic sciences and medicine and to expose them to career opportunities in those fields. The program provides a “hands on” experience through biomedical science workshops involving research, clinical problem-solving and an introduction to the field of clinical medicine.
