Career Center

For Faculty

The NEOMED Career Center and Student Affairs strives to facilitate student development, retention and success through professional and personal identity development, co-curricular learning opportunities and student advocacy to produce competent and caring health care professionals. Interaction with faculty is a crucial component of this development and can also be a rewarding part of your own development as a faculty member.

Get involved with students

Student organizations host a plethora of events throughout the year. Access a listing of student events and activities.

These advisors members are specially trained to assist third and fourth year medical students with the residency application and match process. Contact us for more information.

View a complete list of student organizations or contact Harmony Stanger, assistant director of student development and leadership, at for more information on the role and expectations of student organization advisors.

Become a specialty mentor

As a Specialty Mentor you agree to mentor current students who are interested in learning more about your medical specialty or career path.

Recognize a stand out student leader or student organization! Awards are given to individual students and student organizations who have shown a strong commitment to community service, leadership, and overall involvement in both the NEOMED and Northeast Ohio Communities.

The goal of these informal receptions is to provide first and second year medical students with an opportunity to network with practicing physicians and begin to explore their career options after graduation.
