Be Part of Something Extraordinary
The Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) Brain Bee is a live Q&A competition that tests the neuroscience knowledge of high school students. Students will compete to determine who is the “Best Brain.” All questions will be taken from the book, Brain Facts, which is a free download at www.sfn.org.
The winner of the NEOMED Brain Bee will qualify for the National Brain Bee Competition in 2018.
Do you know…
- what determines intelligence?
- how eyes see and ears hear?
- why we need sleep?
- how you can improve your memory?
- why pain exists?
- how your brain is different from a computer?
- what makes you who you are?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, and are between the ages of 14-18, you may have what it takes to enter the NEOMED Brain Bee!
Tutoring sessions will be available the second Saturday of every month beginning in August.
