Mission

The mission of the NOOK Bookstore is to be “the source for collegiate retail services that exceeds diverse community needs by advancing learning and spirit through value, convenience, and innovation.”  Our mission and vision is to sell merchandise and services at the lowest possible prices consistent with sound business practices.  In addition to all required and recommended course materials, our diverse selection of reference books, spirit merchandise, school supplies and other products reflects the wide variety of backgrounds and interests that make NEOMED a world class institution.

One of our primary goals is to provide for all your medical book buying needs whether you’re a student, completing residency, or a practitioner. We stock textbooks, supplies and an extensive selection of Health Science Professional Trade and Reference books. Special orders are an essential part of our customer service.

The staff and management of the store will provide excellent customer service. We will be pleasant, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and willing to go any reasonable distance to meet the needs of our customers. Our service philosophy is centered on flexibility and responsiveness. We believe that every customer has his own unique needs, every customer is a priority and we focus on doing what’s right for the customer, no matter what it takes.

Our business will actively support both the professional and artistic community of which it is part and the neighborhood in which it is located. This support will primarily be in the form of goods, services and volunteer efforts.

Staying current with industry changes and anticipating evolving customer needs is very important to our mission; for that reason the bookstore is proud members of the National Association of College Store (NACS), the Ohio Association of College Store (OACS), and Connect2One
