REDIzone’s Regional Commercialization Showcase Series Begins Sept. 7
All Northeast Ohio researchers, students and life science companies are invited to participate in a new event series called the Industry Partner Showcase, being launched this fall by NEOMED’s REDIzone. The series is intended to foster discussions among our ecosystem of researchers and companies and to provide tools to commercialize and translate Northeast Ohio discoveries.
The first event, held on Friday, Sept. 7, will feature Ajinomoto Althea, a leading contract manufacturing organization for biotherapeutics. This showcase will include a technical discussion about his company’s antibody-drug conjugate capabilities, as well as its Crystalomics formulation techniques for protein based therapies.
In addition to the company overview, there will be a special discussion for Ph.D. and post-doctoral students interested in career alternatives as researchers in industry.
The event will be held from 11:30-1 p.m. in the Signet Board Room of the Northeast Ohio Medical University NEW Center
