Judith Barnes Lancaster honored for lifelong service to Northeast Ohio

Judith Barnes Lancaster, Esq., was recently honored by the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce during its annual Community Salute awards with its Salute Award of Merit – the Chamber’s top award.

President Jay A. Gershen was among many to congratulate and pay tribute in a video presentation to Barnes Lancaster’s service through the years.

Lancaster has played an important role in Northeast Ohio Medical University’s success. She most recently serves as the chair of the NEOMED Foundation and co-chair of the University’s Shine On Campaign.

In 2017, she was awarded an honorary degree, Doctor of Science Honoris Causa, in recognition of her dedicated service to improve the health, economy and quality of life of the diverse communities of Northeast Ohio.
