Congress Extends Tax Breaks for 2014

On Tuesday, December 16, Congress passed the Tax Increase Prevention Act of 2014 (H.R. 5771), extending 55 tax provisions through December 31, 2014, and retroactively to January 1, 2014. Your IRA gift to a charitable organization like the NEOMED Foundation can count toward the annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) required by the IRS.

Giving by Check

You can give through a check by sending a check, made out to the Northeast Ohio Medical University Foundation, to the NEOMED Foundation, 4209 State Route 44, P.O. Box 95, Rootstown, Ohio 44272.

Giving by Credit Card

You can make a gift by credit card by calling the development office at 330.325.6671. You can also send your credit card information to the NEOMED Foundation, 4209 State Route 44, P.O. Box 95, Rootstown, Ohio 44272. If you choose to mail your information, please include the name on the card, the card type, the card number, the expiration date, the CCID code found on the back of the card and your address.

Credit card information is not kept by the Foundation, and is destroyed as soon as the card has been processed.

Giving Stocks, Bonds and Securities

You can make a gift of stocks, bonds or securities by contacting the development office at 330.325.6671.

Stocks received by the NEOMED Foundation are sold immediately.
