NEOMED is committed to helping students in crisis 24 hours a day when school is in session.

If you are experiencing an emotional or psychiatric crisis and are unable to reach a NEOMED counselor, please contact the local and national resources listed on the left navigation pane or go to the nearest emergency room.

What is an urgent crisis?

If you are experiencing any of the following:

  • thoughts of hurting oneself
  • thoughts of hurting other people
  • recent victim of sexual assault
  • dangerous current use of alcohol or drugs
  • seeing or hearing things that others do not
