Tuition & Fees
Tuition and Fees are billed to students up to 10 days prior to the start of classes. Student bills must be paid in full by the bill's due date. A $50.00 late fee is assessed to unpaid bills. The Accounting Department at NEOMED will contact students by e-mail with instructions on accessing their tuition statement online in DOCS. Tuition and fees can be paid by financial aid, cash, personal check or credit card. All payments should be directed to the NEOMED Accounting Department.
Pharmacy students are billed twice during the academic year. Medical students in M1, M2 and M4 are billed twice during the academic year; M3 students are billed three times.
Tuition/ Financial Aid Recalculation
When a student declares a leave of absence or withdrawals from classes during the academic year a portion of the tuition charged to them at the beginning of the term may be refunded to the student based on the date the leave or withdrawal occurs. All fees are non-refundable after the first day of classes.
Please also note that when students declare a leave of absence or withdrawal the financial aid counselor will conduct a Return of Title IV calculation to determine the amount of disbursed federal financial aid the student is able to keep and the amount that will have to be returned to the lender by the school and the student. The percentage of funds needing returned depends on the length the student was enrolled. An exit counseling session needs completed with the financial aid office for any student granted a leave of absence or who withdrawals from the college explaining your options for loan repayment, deferment or forbearance options.
Any student considering a leave of absence or withdrawal should consult the academic deans office and the financial aid office to determine the impact to their student account.
