Skeletal Biology Focus Area
|
The Skeletal Biology Research Focus Area brings together researchers that study all aspects of bone, cartilage and connective tissue biology in humans and other mammals. Approaches range across all organizational levels, from molecules to organisms. Some research projects are applied, involving clinical research. Others are basic and involve laboratory studies on molecular-level processes, but also field studies on processes at larger time-scales, such as mammalian evolution.
